This scale works accurately, i agree with the other posts are being hard to turn on. Sometimes when i step, using my heel, to turn the scale on it wont come on. So my solution is to gently, slightly lift it in the air a bit with my foot and when i lower it to the floor it magically comes on. This doesnt harm the scale and it turns on fine. At least i dont have to worry about my kids playing with it.

It seems to provide a very deep cleaning action, I went over a section of carpet that appeared to be clean and it just kept pulling the dirt up……….Rotary scrubbers do a very good job

After J.D. Salinger died, my 92-year-old mother expressed interest in reading The Catcher in the Rye, so I ordered a used copy of the book The Catcher in the Rye through Amazon.com and had it sent to her. She really enjoyed reading it and gave a review of it at her retirement home book club. She told them she loved the book. I asked for her comments for this book review, and she said:

I loved it at first, but as others have pointed out, you can get on the scale and get one weight, get off, and then get a different weight. This morning the variance was ridiculous. Usually, I will weigh a heavy object, then get back on and it will be closer for some odd reason. I keep a log of my daily weight taken at the same time each day. Today it said I had gained 5 pounds in one day, not very likely. So, I weighed something else (heavy shoes), cleared it, then got back on. Voila! I lost 5 pounds! This is with batteries not more than 2 weeks old. So for accurate tracking of weight loss on a daily basis, not so good. Overall though, it is well made and might work if you weigh yourself once a week.

You cannot beat this pedometer for accuracy and value. I purchased my pedometer at Wal-Mart 2 years ago for $19.99. I am a type-II diabetic and it helps keep me on track and honest when it comes to walking. I started out wearing it by clipping it to my belt and attaching the safety strap to a belt loop. Now I put the pedometer in my pocket and clip the safety strap to the corner of the pocket I put it in. I have changed the batteries in my pedometer 3 times since its purchase. I thought I had lost it about a year ago and purchased 2 more; a replacement for me and a new one for my wife. I found my original 2 days after I ordered the replacement. It was not until I purchased my replacement that I found out it was Consumer Reports number 1 recommended pedometer.

I wish I could give Hoover zero stars on this.

I bought this new, and immediately had the major leaking problem a lot of people have mentioned. But mine was not related to priming the surge button, installation or anything simple like that.

Mine had a crack in the reservoir regulator and that had to be replaced.
Beyond that being an unreasonable hassle on a brand new machine, the closest Hoover Service Center is 45 miles away so instead of making two trips there I had to choose to pay my local repair shop to diagnose the problem and repair it. So that cost me an extra $28 AND I did not have my steam cleaner for 2-3 weeks right after I bought it.

Hoover needs better quality control and more service centers.

A new machine should not have a crack in it, and a new machine should not leak profusely the first time you use it.

It is accurate, repeatable and steady. It also looks nice. But it does not seem to work properly for light weighing objects. It is suitable only to measure body weight.

I bought the BlueParrott Roadwarrior B250 Headset and I am really pleased with the quality of the sound I get from the earpiece. I drive truck for a living and I am able to hear my calls in the cab even with the window down.
The noise cancelling mic is also nice. People that I talk to tell me that they can hear me better since I started using the headset.
I am really pleased with the product.

I haven’t enjoyed a book this much in a long time. I just COULD NOT put this down, held it in one hand while I cooked supper with the other. Pretty difficult since it was hardcover!

Set in the south in the 60’s, it covers a lot of ground with civil rights, women’s place in the southern social climate and human beings who know what ’s right and wrong. It was funny, sad, and just so captivating. I was truly sad when this book ended.

I never watch a movie if it’s based on a book I’ve read but I’ve heard this one is coming out soon. I might actually see the movie to see if they portray the characters and events the same with I imagined them.

You will not be disappointed by this book!
