Great!!!Accurate. Easy. Slip it in pocket and walk. This is my fifth purchase of a pedometer and the only one that has ever rendered accurate step counts. I’m not interested in how fast I’m breathing or whether it can count competition walking, I just want to work on getting nearer my 10,000 steps goal. This makes that effort easier.

I read enough reviews about the Garmin Portable Friction Mount to know the general consesus of owners highly approved of it. So I gladly ordered from Amazon.com to replace my windshield mount. It is everything it promised to be, and exceeded my expectations. I fully expected some slippage across the dashboard around tight corners. I even went so far as to hang onto my Garmin 855 on aggressive turns. But then I got courageous enough to just let the Friction Mount do it’s job (hold my GPS in place without slipping/tipping)… and it did! So to my surprise I didn’t have a single problem or worry anymore. And the dashboard mount is far better than the windshield mount.

I withheld one star simply because I think the unit is slightly overpriced. It is still worth every penny if it helps prevent GPS theft, but for what is essentially a non-slip sandbag with a plastic mount on top… I would like to have paid a little less. No complaints about overall quality whatsoever.

This item is great especially if you are working in an office as it gives you an idea/overview of how much (or how little) you are doing daily. 10000 steps per day is longer than it seems… It definitely is a motivational tool to get you out and about.

If you are getting into jogging or running, it’s also a great help with trying to see how far and long you have been on the move.

It’s light, compact, doesn’t get in the way, and is easy to use. I keep it on my purse and with me everyday.

It’s definitely for the simpler sportsman/woman or if you’re just starting to get active, and want to keep track of your activity a bit.

If you are an advanced walker/runner, who needs a GPS system and heart rate monitor, this is probably not the item for you.

Overall, was worth the buy!

What a beautiful book! Our book club read it as a second choice but it quickly became #1. I grew up in this era and never did understand some of the do’s and don’ts I was subjected to. The book answered many of these questions. I only wish my grandmother was still alive so I could ask her….”why?”. I would love to hear her answers as she was a most tolerant and understanding woman. This book is a definite keeper for anyone who has a need to know how the civil rights movement looked from a different perspective, how those most affected feared for their lives, their jobs, and their families if they dared to speak out. The courage and tenacity of Aibiline, Minny and Skeeter brought tears to my eyes many times. A must read!!

Are you dealing with excessive shedding? Are no at home brushes or shampoo’s having an affect? Have you been paying $50 or more to get all that loose hair out of your dog? Well, it’s too late to fix that last one, but it is still possible to deal with shedding at home.
I bought a FURminator for my dog, a flat-coated retriever. As a Canadian breed, she was shedding a lot in the warm summer weather. We had given her baths, daily brushings, more baths, more brushing, and still our carpet was turning steadily black with hair.
We got the FURminator. It was basically a heavy duty, stainless steel, fine tooth comb. However, it preformed wonders. Our dog has a lot of hair. Like, a LOT of hair. After about an hour of brushing, the average time is probably a lot shorter, her coat was shining and her panting became calmer. She has really long hair, and a very thick undercoat, so it will be a while before everything is out. However, if she was a short-haired breed, the amount of hair that was removed would have been the dog’s entire undercoat.
I recommend this product for any one with a cat or dog that sheds. However, if you don’t have the “time” to brush your pet, and would rather drop them off at the groomers, go right ahead. I don’t recommend this, however. Mostly because it costs about the same as actually buying the brush.
FYI: Some of the warnings on this product include:
Do not use on non-shedding breeds.
Do not use on matted hair. They’re mostly talking about matts like the ones they get behind the ears.

Florence Eat! Where to

This book has all the ingredients for a great movie: action, romance, history, comic relief and even a little violence. The cruelty to animals was a little hard to take at times but wasn’t gratuitous. Overall an excellent story.

My sister in law demonstrated the furminator on her dog for me. I thought “wow” that’s great. I purchased one immediately. It works great.

The Transcend 8 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card allows me to capture more video. I almost maxed this card out with 2.5 hors of video and many pictures. The class 6 speed was nice when I went to upload the files to the computer. It was faster than the class 4 that I was using previously. The product came before the expected delivery date.
