I may not be one of the most objective reviewers, since I am one of the author’s daughters, but I think the book is tremendous. I was apprehensive about reading it but I found that once I started I couldn’t put it down. Not only did it allow me to understand what my mom was going through emotionally that year, but it also helped me get to know her much more deeply (more as a person, less like a mom). I believe the book would be incredibly helpful for anyone (man or woman) facing a divorce or other types of life changing situations. It’s also a valuable resource for children to understand what their parents are going through.
